Introduction

A group of talented individuals where every member possesses professional-level skills, resulting in highly polished music. Their tracks are characterized by aggressive digital rock sounds and powerful lyrics. They deliver overwhelming performances that stun the audience during live concerts.
Their past can be traced back to Bushiroad's 10th anniversary.。Raychell, drummerNatsumetoSae OtsukaPerforming the song "Are you ready to FIGHT" together became the catalyst for RAS's formation.
The name initially announced was "THE THIRD (仮)," consisting of singerRaychell, drummerNatsume, voice actressKurachi ReoandPoppin'Party'sSae Otsukaformed as temporary members. In the first LIVE following that, Sae Otsuka stepped down in tears, and voice actressRiko Koharatook over as the new guitarist.[1]
During the second LIVE, the official name "RAISE A SUILEN" was announced, and voice actressRisa Tsumugijoined as the DJ.
The stage names of the five RAS members can all be understood as "things that hide something": LAYER (coating), MASKING (masking material), PAREO (sarong), LOCK (lock), and CHU² (tutu).
Upon the release of their first single "R.I.O.T.", the band's 2D character designs were revealed. They made their first appearance in the second season of the BanG Dream! TV anime, were formally integrated into the Garupa worldview, and later officially joined the Garupa game.

2018
- January 14, Garupa Live & GaruParty! in TokyoDuring the LIVE, it was officially announced that a new band would be formed from the members of the Back Band, and they would hold their first solo LIVE on March 25 of the same year under the name "THE THIRD (provisional)".
- On March 25, during THE THIRD (provisional)'s first LIVE, Sae Otsuka, one of the original members, tearfully stepped down,Riko Koharajoined as the new guitarist.
- On May 12 and 13, they performed as the Opening Act at the BanG Dream! 5th☆LIVE.
- On July 17, during THE THIRD (provisional)'s second LIVE, the official name "RAISE A SUILEN" was announced, and it was announced that voice actressRisa Tsumugijoined as the DJ.
- On September 26, the only LIVE album under the name THE THIRD (provisional) was released.
- On November 10, they performed their first overseas guest appearance under the name RAISE A SUILEN.
- On December 4, the members' image colors were revealed in the CM for the single R·I·O·T.

Since the members of RAS come from various places (CHU² is a returnee, PAREO is from Chiba, LOCK is from Gifu), their surnames do not follow the rule of being "taken from actual place names," but were insteadYuniko Ayanaassigned individually. Band Style
Their music is based on impactful electronic rock and even features breakdowns (BKD) often heard in core music, leading to the saying that headbanging is enough at their lives. In the live performance of the song "A DECLARATION OF ×××" in live performances, members Raychell, Kohara Riko, and Kurachi Reo can also be seen doing windmill-style headbanging. Their currently only ballad, "Takin' my Heart] also adopts a lyrical rock style. What's different is the title track of the third single, "Invincible Fighter", which was made for the anime Cardfight!! Vanguard, adopts a style leaning towards anime songs, yet heavy electronic sounds can still be heard; this song is even RAS's fastest BPM song up to the third single. Additionally, due to their status as a back band, early concerts would invite guests or cover songs from Pastel＊Palettes, Afterglow, and Hello, Happy World!even Glitter*Greenand other songs from non-real bands, a move that also successfully saved Bushiroad a sum of copyright fees。
In terms of lyrics, explosive and aggressive words like "imposter" and "head-on confrontation" often appear, as well as lyrics like "royalism".
Due to the electronic rock style, the stage lighting effects are more intense and flashy, leading to jokes thatthe other "R" groupsaved electricity that was all used up by this "R" group.

Before the 3rd anniversary, only Asahi Rokka appeared in the game story as a guest character. According to game data mining, Asahi Rokka was assigned a three-digit ID used for general NPCs.[citation needed]
On February 23, 2020, the RAS leader appeared in the officially released Garupa 3rd anniversary promotional illustration.CHU², as well as the then-unconfirmedMashiro Kuratasilhouettes, leading some to speculate that RAS would likely be implemented during the 3rd anniversary.

On March 1st'sHello Happy CiRCLE Station, the official announcement was made that RAS would beAnime Season 3implemented after the broadcast ends (Early Summer 2020).
On April 24th, inHello Happy CiRCLE Stationit was announced that RAS would be implemented in June, and that on April 25th, there would be an early implementation ofA DECLARATION OF ×××。
LAYER and MASKING officially appeared (though still as guests) in the subsequent "VIVA LA LIVE!" event; according to game data mining, their IDs were 31 and 33, respectively.
On June 2nd'sHello Happy CiRCLE Station, more details regarding the implementation event of RAS were revealed.
- RAS itself will be launched on June 10th (i.e., the 117th event).
- RAS's Band Story consists of 25 chapters in total; the first 13 chapters will be implemented along with the band, and the latter 12 chapters will be implemented in August.
