| 『 | This is a world filled with energy known as "Mana."
"Mana" is everywhere; even in the air, trace amounts of "Mana" are suspended. However, the vast majority of Mana is stored in mana plants within the forest and must be obtained by collecting these plants. In this world, there is a class of creatures whose biomass energy depends entirely on the metabolism of Mana. These creatures that sustain life by ingesting Mana are called "Demons." "Elves," who also inhabit this world, can also utilize Mana for metabolism. The Mana accumulated in the bodies of Demons is of low purity and unstable; because they cannot store Mana for long periods, Demons have gluttonous habits. Elves, on the other hand, can stably maintain ingested Mana within their bodies. Two races that both view Mana as food will inevitably have territorial disputes and racial hostilities. Furthermore, the high-purity Mana stored in Elven cells is the finest essence for Demons; thus, Demons have a biological instinct to actively attack Elves to seize the Mana within them. Elves are a race with intelligence and civilization, unlike the backward Demons dominated by animality. However, if an Elf is accidentally preyed upon by a Demon, they will still become extremely weak due to the extraction of Mana, making it difficult to withstand even a slight impact. Additionally, because Demons who cannot store Mana for long often gluttonously ingest excessive amounts, some individuals frequently undergo mutations such as distorted gigantism and develop unexpected combat power. Therefore, as an Elf, one must be cautious in forests and caves. |

In this forest that operates on the foundation of "Mana," there live Elves, Dwarves, Orcs, and Demons. The conflict between the civilization built by Elves and Orcs and the animality of the Demons, the ancient fairy tales and myths circulating among the people, the harsh rules of races and the bloodlines of families, the doctrines of the Gratia Orthodoxy and the mysterious sky facilities—all mysteries gradually converge and surface before the heavily injuredNoelBefore her, Alice, nurtured in the cradle, opened her eyes to explore Wonderland.
A descendant of the Cornell family, which branched off from a lineage of orthodox elven alchemists; she is a mixed-blood of elf, human, and beastman.
Noel's second older sister.
A trashy sister who charges her own family for items, with average prices even higher than Nightingale's.
She runs a magic general store, which serves as the base "Witch's General Store" in the game, where Noel's family also resides.
However, because the store is located deep in the forest and surrounded by many thorns, few people visit her shop; combined with her own...magical skillsand excellent alchemy, many strange "urban legends" have emerged regarding Noel's family.
He is good at cooking and teaches Noel how to cook.
While the second older sister uses the loungeto receive guestshe helps look after the shop. He also mops the floor and does the laundry at home.
Tilde quite likes(especially on a sexual level)to tease Noel. For example, he makes snide remarks while teaching her how to cook.as well as taking her only set of clothes to wash while she is bathing, forcing her to return to her room wrapped in a towel, only to be knocked down by their passing father and seen naked by him.

She is very jealous of Noel's magical talent and enjoys competing with her in magic. However, when Noel is injured, she also takes the initiative to show concern for her.Isn't this just a...TsundereWell...Tsundere is out of style now.
She can fly close to the ground on her staff, and at a very high speed.Frequent rider, quick to perish.
On the first day, she brought the Land Mine magic to Noel, but was knocked down by a Soil Snake on her way back. After Noel rescued her from the Soil Snake's control, she was then controlled by the Forest Lord, requiring a second rescue by Noel.
After the first rescue, Isha brought Noel the Focused Fireball magic. After the second rescue, Isha brought Noel the Holy Light Burst magic. Therefore, for every new skill Noel learns, one Isha is harmed.
Noel's teacher.
She greatly admires Noel and considers her to be naturally gifted.
Two weeks after the demon crisis, the teacher personally came to Noel's house to conduct mana usage rehabilitation for her. (Which is the tutorial)
She was saved by Noel during the demon crisis two weeks ago and is very grateful to her. She also feels self-reproach and guilt for being too paralyzed with fear to help Noel escape when she saw her being swallowed by a demon.
She has a restless personality and loves talking to herself, which often leads her to ramble on when communicating with others.
She enjoys tinkering with computers and is curious about the weapons in the armory, having sneaked into the Belmit armory multiple times. Two weeks ago, she operated the turret in front of the school gate to repel the demons, and she takes on the role of gunner again during the main storyline's defense battle.
A traveling merchant wandering through the Weaver's Forest.
A scummy traveling merchant who worries about her business even during the Forest Lord's riot, offers comfort when Noel's clothes are in disarray, and gives a "100% price" (no discount) on all goods.
She is skilled at playing the harmonica. In the Weaver's Forest, if the player hears harmonica music in a scene with a bench, it means Nightingale is in the current scene, and she can be found near the bench.
Of course, you can also purchase a "Traveling Merchant's Bell" from her and sit on a bench to wait for her to hear the bell and come find you.

"This is a world filled with the energy known as '
Dissipated mana can be categorized by color intoGold、Blue、Green、red。
GoldandBluemana (Friendly Mana) can only be absorbed by the player, whileredmana (Hostile Mana) can only be absorbed by monsters.Greenmana (Neutral Mana) can be absorbed by either the player or monsters.
When the player is attacked, or uses magic but fails to hit a monster, it dissipatesredmana. When a monster is attacked, it dissipatesBluemana. When a monster is defeated, it dissipates a large amount ofGoldmana.
Mana is absorbed by the side with less current mana, based on the current mana values of the player or enemies around it. Additionally, the lower a creature's mana value, the larger its mana absorption range.
Blue、redIf mana remains in a dissipated state for a period of time (usually 4–5 seconds), it will turn intoGreenmana. In version 0.28i,Goldmana does not change and is absorbed by the player upon generation, regardless of whether the player's current mana value has reached its limit.
Therefore, if the player uses magic in combat but fails to hit a monster, it will significantly increase the monster's advantage. If the player uses magic outside of combat, they can wait for the dissipatedredmana to becomeGreenmana, thereby recovering it.
Mana plants usually spawn along with the battle arena. According to the setting, if the player actively attacks (gathers) a mana plant, it will be considered trespassing on the monsters' territory, thereby triggering a battle.
After a mana plant is gathered, it will drop a portion ofGreenmana, and will respawn after 1 minute.
When players are in battle and cannot restore mana through methods like potions and gummies, regularly gathering mana plants in the battle arena is usually a good choice. However, if the player already has enough mana at this time, the act of gathering mana plants is equivalent to giving mana to the monsters for nothing.
When monsters are low on mana, they will more actively gather mana plants to restore their own mana values.
When the player uses magic, a portion of mana is consumed. When the player's mana is too low, they will enter a
Depleted state. In this state, running and dodging are impossible.
As of version 0.28i, no monsters can use magic to consume mana. However, when some monsters absorb a large amount of mana, not only will their size become larger, but their attack and defense power will also increase significantly.
When the player is attacked, the player's mana bar may break. The lower the player's health, or the stronger the monster's attack, the higher the probability of the mana bar breaking.
After the mana bar breaks, if the player's current mana is within the range of the broken mana bar, it will continuously dissipateredmana.
Players can repair their broken mana bar by sitting on a bed at the base or by using items.
Players can also have their character enter a trance stateClimax, to temporarily repair the mana bar. However, this temporary repair can easily revert to a broken state.
If the player's mana barwombis filled with objects injected by other monsters♯♯ or eggs, these objects will occupy space in the mana bar. The mana available for the player to use will also be greatly reduced. If eggs are injected by monsters, using magic may also lead to an ovulation state.
In addition to recovering mana through mana plants, potions, or gummies as mentioned above, sitting on a bench or bed can also fully restore mana.
After completing the prologue, the cooking, alchemy, and synthesis systems will be unlocked. Cooking with ingredients in the kitchen allows you to create dishes that have attribute bonuses determined by the ingredients. Using materials in the sister's workshop for alchemy allows you to create various items to be used as consumables or containers during adventures. At the workbench, you can use materials to synthesize corresponding special items to increase backpack capacity or empty bottle storage capacity, etc.
When players obtain a new spell, they will experience a non-skippable animation (this is intentional by the developer).
All spells must be chanted (cast) before they can be activated.
If a player wants to chant a specific spell, they first need to long-press X the key to bring up the spell wheel, and then press a specific directional key to select the corresponding spell.
After a spell is selected, the player still needs to keep X the key held down to begin chanting the spell. At this time, two white arcs will appear in front of the player, indicating the chanting progress of the current spell. When the arcs merge into a circle and an octagram pattern appears, the spell chant is complete, and the player can release the X key (or perform other specific actions) to release the spell.
When the player's Mana is lower than the required Mana for the spell, they can still force a chant. In this case, the time required for chanting will increase significantly.
While chanting a spell, the player is in a completely unprotected state. Therefore, if the player senses danger, they can also release the X key early, or press the Z key, or press the ⇧ Shift key to interrupt the spell chant.
When magic chanting is interrupted, the crystal ball on the staff will flash white. When the chanting is complete but not yet released, the crystal ball will flash with a blinding white light. Players can continue to hold down the X key at any time to continue chanting until it is finished, or press the Z key near a monster to release a magic shotgun.
If the player releases a spell that has not been fully chanted, the attack power of the spell will be significantly reduced.
As of version 0.29g, there are a total of 7 usable spells in the game.
Although skills in the game are divided into 5 categories, in practice, players only use attack and defense skills (there is only one magic skill, Holy Burst). Health and Mana skills are merely effects similar to permanent status buffs (directly increasing maximum HP and MP).

An easy-to-handle magical device designed for beginners. Its performance is decent and well-balanced, but its potential is limited, and there is little point in strengthening it to higher levels.
The staff the player starts with. It has the best balance with no major weaknesses, and its high Stability value ensures that the penalty for being hit is relatively light.

Standardized equipment for soldiers and officer candidates of the Belmit Armed Forces. It is optimized for long-range magic, but its melee performance (such as Magic Shotgun power) is relatively inferior.
The Belmit Standard Staff performs excellently in locking on and recovery, making it suitable for wearing down enemies from mid-range using Pure White Arrow and Chain Water Array. However, because players need to periodically collect dissipated mana orbs, it may often leave them exposed to danger.

This model is modified based on the Bermit Army's standard equipment to enhance output power. It sacrifices some aiming performance and mana stability, and also weakens the power of Magic Shotgun, but improves overall attack power and mana utilization efficiency.
Bermit Standard Staff: Modified excels in long-range and attrition; its low mana consumption allows players to wear down enemies from a greater distance. However, this staff is almost unable to deal with close-range enemies and performs poorly in narrow terrain.

A staff specifically designed for melee attacks. It performs excellently in normal attacks and Magic Shotgun power, but has poor long-range magic firing capabilities, and the lock-on function is completely unavailable.
The Magic War Hammer is particularly suitable for players using Charged Fireball in conjunction with Magic Shotgun for output. The high damage bonus ensures that even when facing high-danger monsters, with the right plug-ins and meat-containing food, they can be defeated within one or two shotgun blasts.

Named after the legendary steed from ancient mythology. A staff specially designed to achieve extreme casting speed by significantly sacrificing performance in other areas. Poor mana conversion efficiency is one of the costs, so care must be taken to avoid accidental mana depletion.
Sleipnir: Pegasus is a high-risk, high-reward staff. The extremely fast casting speed ensures that players can deal a large amount of magic output in a short time. However, ultra-low stability causes the player's mana bar to break quickly, and if facing high-density monsters, it can easily lead to mana being directly exhausted by numerous monster attacks, making evasion impossible and leading to an irreversible state. It has a low margin for error.

A staff tailored for magic competitions and performance purposes, capable of minimizing mana consumption and dissipation. Correspondingly, however, the speed of reabsorbing and reloading mana after casting magic is slower.
Monopolist: Temperance is more balanced compared to the Bermit Standard Staff: Modified; it is a staff that requires controlling the rhythm of magic chanting and mana orb recovery.
Many Combat Points are distributed throughout the Weaver's Woods. Players will fight monsters and the mechanisms they have built here to obtain loot.Or directly enter a defeated state.。
Players can trigger a battle by harvesting mana plants within a Battle Point, long-pressing the confirm button at a Battle Point, clicking the battle button with the mouse, or entering a Battle Point during an encounter as described below. Once a battle is triggered, defeating all monsters and mechanisms generated within the map is considered a victory.
Sometimes there are mechanism doors wrapped in vines near a Battle Point; if the player wins the battle at that point, the corresponding mechanism door will open.
Danger Level can usually be checked under Status - Danger Level/Battle. As the Danger Level increases, the value displayed on the player's Mana Magnetometer also increases. At high Danger Levels, the total number of monsters generated at Battle Points significantly increases, as does the probability of loot and treasure chest drops.
Each Battle Point has its own set Danger Level, calledBattle Point Danger Level, and players can judge the strength of the monsters based on the Battle Point Danger Level.
When a player wins at a Battle Point during an exploration, that point's Danger Level is converted into an increment based on a specific algorithm and accumulated for that exploration, calledTime Danger Level。
Generally, the increment is equal to the Battle Point's Danger Level. However, if a Battle Point has just been cleared, the increment will be reduced to 0. Players need to win at other Battle Points to restore the increment of the cleared Battle Point. In short, players need to rotate through multiple Battle Points to increase the Time Danger Level.
Players can also increase the Danger Level by discarding Noel Juice. The maximum Danger Level increase through this method is 45, and it does not affect time (calculated independently), calledBody Fluid Danger Level。
The sum of the Time Danger Level and Body Fluid Danger Level is the currentArea Danger Level. The maximum Area Danger Level is 160.
In the game, 16 Danger Level equals one day. The first 9 Danger Level of a day is daytime, and the remaining 7 is nighttime.
During the night, players cannot use benches for fast travel. Additionally, the number of monsters increases compared to the daytime, but the mana contained within individual monsters is lower.
If the player, upon returning to the base,Area Danger Levelreaches the corresponding standard, they can pre-select the Danger Level (time) for their next exploration before heading out.
Some battle points only appear at night, known as Night Battle Points. When entering a Night Battle Point, players may trigger an encounter. Night Battle Points will always feature Fool monsters.
If a Night Battle Point contains magical plants that are invisible during the day, the probability of triggering an encounter at that point is high. If the player has never won at that Night Battle Point before, an encounter will definitely be triggered upon entry.
According to the game code, if the player encounters foggy weather and the Danger Level is higher than 112 (Day 7), the probability of an encounter is determined to be higher than 100%. If the player reloads a save at this point, an encounter will also be triggered when entering a battle point they have already won during this exploration.
Every time a player wins at a battle point, there is a chance to trigger different weather based on the current Area Danger Level. Weather affects certain attributes of monsters or the player, making combat more difficult; in return, monsters are more likely to drop their loot upon defeat.
The Adventurer's Guild in Gratia will issue "Extermination" missions. These missions require the player to annihilate all enemies at a certain battle point. After accepting the mission, entering these battle points will inevitably trigger an encounter.
Depending on the mission's difficulty, when a battle occurs, the current battle'sArea Danger Levelwill be immediately increased, and restored when the battle ends.
If the mission specifies weather, that weather will also be added immediately when the battle occurs (without overwriting the original weather). If the mission specifies fixed enemies, other enemies will be replaced by these enemies, except for elite monsters such as the four types of Corrupted, Youko, and Marsh Frogs.
When the Danger Level rises, Treasure Chest Effect Roulettes are obtained based on the current Danger Level. They are used when the player opens a treasure chest, increasing the quantity and quality of materials that may be obtained from the current chest. The higher the Danger Level, the higher the quality of the Treasure Chest Effect Roulette obtained (the more plus signs).
For the same type of Treasure Chest Effect Roulette, the internal effects will always appear in a fixed order.
If the player has more than 8 Treasure Chest Effect Roulettes when opening a chest, they must choose to discard a specific number of roulettes until only 8 remain.
When players collect resources in the map via interaction keys or attacks, or during the post-defeat settlement, the Treasure Chest Effect Wheel will also be triggered. However, in these cases, only the 8 most recently acquired wheels will trigger, and the system will automatically select them for you.
The Adventurer's Guild also has its own independently calculated Treasure Chest Effect Wheels. When the number of reward chests accepted by the player exceeds 5, the system will force the player to open all reward chests and lose all Guild Treasure Chest Effect Wheels.

When a player is at a battle point during an explorationFirst TimeDuring battle, enemies have a chance to dropPublic Chests。
If the player has not activated the Haniwa Doll's Amulet skill (version 0.22 and earlier) or is on Normal or Expert difficulty (version 0.23 and later), the player can obtain all the public chests listed at the battle point. Conversely (if the skill is activated or on Casual difficulty), they may not be able to collect all public chests.
When defeating monsters, there is a chance they will drop their corresponding materials.
In addition to public chests, there are also secret chests.
Secret chests will not be displayed when the battle point does not spawn Corrupted entities. If the battle point can spawn Corrupted entities, the texture for the secret chest will be displayed, but the name will be shown as ???。

str = ((num3 >= 20) ? "何かを作った。" : "予定は未定。"))Homophonic derived terms for "Chusheng" (beast/bastard) used by players. They often specifically refer to *Alice In Cradle* players, commonly used for self-deprecation or as a nickname for other players., such as: "So you're a Kitchen Saint too.", generally referring to immoral behaviors like intentionally controlling Noel to jump into insect walls, acid, or losing to monsters.Chushengbehaviors andfetishes. Furthermore, there is a distinction between the appreciative purpose of observing Noel's defeat and H-scenes, and the pragmatic purpose of obtaining specific ingredients or statuses. In addition, there are specific differences in the usage of these terms:
The term "Chu Sheng" (Holy Chef) is generally used specifically to refer to the act of using substances produced by Noel herself as ingredients;
The term "Chu Sheng" (Birth) is used specifically to refer to the act of Noel producing substances after [Egg Bearing];
The origin of the term "Chu Sheng" (Climbing) comes from the behavior in older versions where Noel could gradually climb upwards along walls or the edges of combat barriers if the rhythm of the skill [Whirlwind Slash] was timed correctly. This characteristic itself was a design bug, but because it brought a certain amount of variety to the gameplay, it gradually gave rise to other gaming cultures (such as "Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy"). After being noticed by the author, this feature was fixed in version 0.22.
The term "Chu Sheng" (Fledgling Voice) is used specifically to refer to Oto-MADs created using Noel's in-game voice lines (such as "dame") as instruments.
Specifically refers to players who view the protagonist Noel as their own daughter and strive to complete the game with no damage and no H-events.
Because Magic Shotgun has a fast chant, high damage, and a strong sense of impact, it is more efficient in combat and thus loved by many players. Since Magic Shotgun itself is a melee skill, players use "Melee Mage" to describe Noel.
