Sakura MatouisTYPE-MOONworks under the "Fate series》 and its derivative works. In the game 《Fate/stay night》, she first appeared in the third route,
A first-year student at Homurahara Academy, a junior one year younger than Shirou Emiya, and a member of the Archery Club.Shinji Matou's younger sister. In reality, she isAdoptive Younger Sister, and her true identity isRin Tohsaka's younger sister.
Gentle, kind, and quiet, she appears to lack her own opinions, but in reality, she suppresses a deep darkness within her heart. However, for Shirou's sake, she occasionally shows a persistent side.
She has a cautious personality, with a temperament that easily goes with the flow and great endurance. However, suffering because of this, in the route where she is the heroine, she is corrupted by Angra Mainyu and turns into a monster that slaughters others, but in the end, due to the sacrifice of the older sister she both intensely admired and envied, as well as Shirou's will, she was pulled back onto the path of redemption.

Rin's younger sister. BeingMothertoFathercherished, both sisters possessGenius-like magical aptitude. She possesses Magic Circuits and aptitude of the same quantity and quality as Rin, but because a magus family's Magic Crest can generally only be inherited by one successor, and both sisters' aptitudes were too high, the Tohsaka family could only protect one. The one who did not receive the inheritance would only face a dead end due to their own aptitude. Therefore, the Tohsaka family was very troubled, wishing to save the lives of both daughters rather than for the sake of talent. (Nasu: Having fatherly affection despite being a magus is very rare in this world.[1]) On the other hand,Gosankethe Matou family, one of the old family friends, was in decline, and the Magic Circuits within their bloodline were gradually dying out,Zouken Matouthen toTokiomi Tohsakarequested to adopt a daughter with Magic Circuits as an heir to continue the lineage. This was undoubtedly a godsend for the Tohsaka family. Thus, the older Rin became the heir to the Tohsaka family, while Sakura was adopted into the Matou family one year before the Fourth Holy Grail War to develop her magical talent.
But because intending to investigate is equivalent to intending to kill each other, it is an unwritten rule among magi. Furthermore, not knowingZouken Matouthat he had already degenerated into a villain who stops at nothing, the Tohsaka family was completely unaware of the cruel treatment Sakura would receive at the Matou household.[2] Subsequently, Sakura was thrown into the worm pit by Matou Zouken and underwent physical modification, with a large number of Crest Worms implanted, and Zouken's true body was also hidden in Sakura's heart. After the Fourth Holy Grail War ended, Matou Zouken implanted a fragment of the Lesser Grail into Sakura's body. This formed the commonly known Black Grail, a LesserGrail: Cup of Makiri. AtGen Urobuchiwrote "Fate/Zero", the one who witnessed the tragedy,Kariya Matouparticipated in the Fourth in order to save SakuraHoly Grail War, but Kariya ultimately died a tragic death, and Sakura was unable to escape Matou Zouken's clutches. Three years ago, Zouken led Shinji to the worm room, where he discovered the truth that he was the one who was the 'air' of the Matou family. Shinji had previously pitied Sakura, but now he felt that it was Sakura who was pitying him. Unable to bear this, Shinji frequently abused Sakura to vent his own inner conflicts. For the next eleven years, Sakura continued to endure the pain brought by the Crest Worms and the humiliation of the Matou family. Four years before the story began, she saw Shirou practicing high jumps on the school playground, was moved by Shirou's persistence, and developed feelings for him.Her older sister saw it too
When she first met Shirou as Shinji's younger sister, her personality was dark and gloomy, and she had a habit of covering her face with her hair.
A year and a half before the story, in the autumn of 2002, Shirou was injured while working part-time. She began visiting the Emiya household under the guise of taking care of him, but in reality, she wasZouken Matousent to monitorShirou Emiya. Learning cooking from Shirou, she grew from someone who didn't even know what salad oil was into acooking expert, her skill in making Western dishes surpassed Shirou's, and her skill in making Japanese dishes was on par with his. And frequently went to the EmiyaEmiya householdhelping with housework.
On the morning of the first day of the story, Sakura comes to the shed to wake Shirou up.

On the morning of the second day, Shirou notices a bruise on Sakura's wrist and assumes Shinji has hit her again. Furious, he intends to teach Shinji another lesson, but Sakura desperately makes excuses for Shinji, saying she accidentally fell, so Shirou lets it go. Afterward, Sakura warns Shirou that Shinji's mental state is unstable and tells him to be wary of him.
On the third day, Saturday, while going to school, Sakura sees the mark on Shirou's hand, which Shirou thinks is a bruise (it is actually a Command Spell). On the way, Sakura says she won't be able to go on Saturday night and Sunday.Emiya household。

On the third day, Saturday, while going to school, Sakura sees the mark on Shirou's hand, which Shirou thinks is a bruise (it is actually a Command Spell). On the way, Sakura says she won't be able to go to the Emiya household on Saturday night and Sunday.
On the fifth day, Rin, who has teamed up with Shirou, moves into the Emiya household. That morning, to prevent Sakura from being involved in the Holy Grail War, Rin tries to drive Sakura out of the Emiya household. However, Sakura, who secretly loves Shirou, shows a rare firm side and quietly refuses in her own way. Her determination surprises everyone present. Feeling threatened by Rin's presence, Sakura skips morning practice at the Archery Club and goes to school with Shirou and Rin. But at the school gate, Sakura is stopped by Shinji. Shinji is furious because Sakura skipped morning practice without his permission and tries to hit her, but is stopped by Shirou. In a fit of rage, Shinji orders Sakura not to go to the Emiya household today. Fortunately, Rin steps in and drives Shinji away with a forceful attitude, allowing Sakura to escape. After Shinji leaves, Sakura apologizes to Shirou and Rin, and says to Rin, "If my brother hasn't learned his lesson yet, please spend more time with him, senpai."
On the seventh day, while Shirou is still asleep, Rin makes a deal with Sakura: the condition is that Sakura will not come to Shirou's house for a week, and after that week, Rin will move out. Rin thus drives Sakura out of the Emiya household, explaining to Shirou that she doesn't want Sakura involved in the Holy Grail War. After this, Sakura does not appear again until the grand finale a week later.
The first three days follow the same plot as the Fate route.
On the third day, just like in the Fate route, Sakura says she won't be able to go to the Emiya household on Saturday and Sunday.
On the fourth day, Shirou takes Saber to visit the school and sees Sakura at the Archery Club. Shirou invites Sakura to have dinner at the Emiya residence that evening, and Sakura happily agrees. In the evening, Sakura was byFuji-needragged along to stay at the Emiya residence (because only Saber and Shirou, a man and a woman, were there, Fuji-nee was worried), and the three of them stay in the same room at night.
On the fifth day, since Rin did not propose an alliance with Shirou, she did not move into Shirou's house. Sakura, Fuji-nee, and Saber stay at the Emiya residence together again, sleeping in the same room.
On the sixth day, Shirou sees Shinji at school. Shinji proposes teaming up with Shirou against Rin, but Shirou refuses. Shinji then suggests that since Shirou is joining the Holy Grail War, the Emiya residence is too dangerous, and he will forbid Sakura from going there in the future (in reality, Shinji is afraid Shirou will take Sakura hostage); Shirou agrees. That evening, Shinji calls and summons Sakura back while she is cooking at the Emiya residence. At this point, you can choose to go to the Matou residence to see Sakura; meeting her outside, she informs Shirou that she won't be able to visit the Emiya residence for a while.
After school on the eighth day, you can choose to visit Sakura at the Matou residence, but you encounter Rin instead. Rin informs Shirou that Sakura is still lying in bed due to the school attackhospital. After this, Sakura does not appear until the ending after the Holy Grail War concludes, busy taking care of the recovering Shinji. For a month after the war, she only visits the Emiya residence on Saturdays and Sundays. Shirou once secretly observed the two of them, and for some reason, they seemed to be getting along well.
On the first day, compared to the common route, there are more interactions with Sakura, such as helping her cook and walking her home. Sakura mentions meeting a stranger, blond and as handsome as a model; Shirou tells her to be careful of suspicious characters.
(Sakura encountered the rarely pity-strickenEnthusiastic CitizenGilgamesh, who believed Sakura could not be saved and that death would be happier than living, so he told her to take her own life.)
On the second day, Shirou goes to Sakura's classroom because he is worried about her. Sakura and Shirou talk about the time Shirou did the high jump.

Day 9, Sakura falls ill again. By the time Shirou and Rin rush back, Sakura has already disappeared.
Shinji, who is both jealous and hateful toward Shirou, takes Sakura hostage and orders Shirou to go to the school alone. There, Shinji commands Rider to fight Shirou, attempting to kill him.
Rider holds back during the battle, and Shirou, along with the arriving Rin and Archer, rescues Sakura. As Shinji flees, he causes Sakura's earring to release an aphrodisiac, stimulating the Crest Worms inside her. Consequently
Sakura flees from the church, and Shirou finds the despairing Sakura, promising to be a hero of justice for her alone.

On the tenth and eleventh days, because her body was modified into a Pseudo-Holy Grail, Sakura gradually loses her human functions during the process of absorbing Heroic Spirits. At the same time, the dark power polluting the Holy Grail also affects Sakura, causing her tonightgo out and attack passersby in the form of sleepwalking after falling asleep.
The power of the Black Holy Grail is truly astonishing. With the cooperation of True Assassin, it absorbed Lancer, Caster, Saber, and Berserker, and due to Sakura's will, Saber and Berserker were able to act in the form of Black Servants. Only Archer, because he was defeated in front of Illya, was absorbed by Illya, and according to his wish, his left arm was transplanted to Shirou, who had lost his entire left arm to the Shadow in a previous battle.
On the twelfth day, Sakura, who had transformed into the Shadow, encounteredGilgamesh, and devoured him.

Nasu: Regardless of whether they have obtained a physical body, as long as it is something that takes form under the Holy Grail system, it cannot resist Dark Sakura, who is the Holy Grail itself. Additionally, Gil, who obtained a physical body, possesses astonishing magical energy. In Sakura's route, because she swallowed this unexpectedly massive amount of magical energy, Sakura, who had been barely maintaining her sense of self, broke down like a collapsing dam.
On the thirteenth day, Zouken Matou invited Shirou to the Matou residence and told him the truth that Sakura is the Shadow.

On the final day, Shirou, Rin, and Rider rush to the underground of Ryudou Temple to try and rescue Sakura. Saber Alter appears, blocking Shirou and Rider, while letting Rin proceed alone to Sakura's location.
Rin uses the Jeweled Sword projected by Shirou to fight against Dark Sakura. Although she manages to suppress Sakura at the cost of tearing her arm muscles with every swing, she ultimately cannot bring herself to strike Sakura down out of love for her sister. Despite her defeat, she succeeds in awakening Sakura's self-awareness.
On the other hand, with Shirou's assistance, Rider uses Bellerophon to defeat Saber, and finally, Shirou usesthe Anti-Mentor Noble Phantasm,to kill Saber. Due to excessive exhaustion, Rider is temporarily unable to move. Shirou rushes to the altar where Rin, Sakura, and the Greater Holy Grail are located, projects Caster's Rule Breaker to sever the connection between Sakura and the Dark Holy Grail, and asks Rider to take Sakura and Rin out of the underground cavern of Ryudou Temple. He then heads to where the Greater Holy Grail is located and engages in a fierce battle with Kirei Kotomine, who intends to stop him. Although he is unilaterally overwhelmed, he wins because Unlimited Blade Works goes out of control and Kirei's life reaches its limit, but he himself is also near death.
The Heaven's Feel route has two final endings: Normal End (Sakura's Dream) and True End (Spring Song).
In the game, the branching options for Sakura's Dream and Spring Song only appear in the second playthrough after completing the True End.
In the Normal End (Sakura's Dream), after Shirou defeats Kirei Kotomine, he projects the Holy Sword to destroy the Grail, but his body dies due to exceeding the limits of projection.
Sakura wakes up from a nightmare, thinking that everything she did after being corrupted was just a bad dream and that her Senpai would still be by her side. However, after searching the entire house and failing to find her beloved Senpai, she realizes it wasn't a dream. She declines her sister Rin Tohsaka's invitation to live together, buys Emiya Shirou's house, plants flowers, and waits for Emiya Shirou's return every spring when the flowers bloom. Of course, he never returns, so she continues to wait year after year until she becomes an old woman, until the end of her life.
In the True End (Spring Song), before Shirou prepares to project the Holy Sword to destroy the Grail,IllyaIllya appears and activates the Greater Holy Grail, sacrificing herself to invoke the Third Magic, regenerating Shirou's soul and providing it with a human body. Shortly after, Rider and Sakura, who found this container for Shirou's soul, place Shirou's soul into a blank puppet with Rin's help, allowing Shirou to live on in a form almost indistinguishable from a normal human. Due to her previous connection with the Grail, Sakura has obtained immense magical energy, which also allows Rider to remain in this world.
In the spring two years later, Sakura, Shirou, and Rider, who stayed at the Emiya residence, along with Rin, who returned from studying in London, all go together toview the cherry blossoms.……
Q: Sakura was thrown into the Holy Grail War in the Sakura route, but she doesn't have much of a chance to appear otherwise. Although I think she would grow as the "Black Grail" in any route, why did Zouken only put her into actual combat in the Sakura route? Could it be that Zouken wasn't in the mansion in the other routes?
A: Normally, Sakura would not fully grow as the "Black Grail" outside of the Sakura route. When she is chosen by Shirou, the "person she doesn't want to lose," her long-accumulated negative emotions burst forth, prompting the growth of "All the World's Evil (Angra Mainyu)."[3]
The 2006 anime version uses the Fate route as its main axis, incorporating some plot adaptations from the UBW and HF routes.
At the beginning of the story, Sakura visits the Emiya household every morning and evening to cook for Fuji-nee and Shirou.
Episode 1: Shirou's first appearance is being woken up by Sakura.
Episode 2: Sakura notices the scars on Shirou's hands.
Episode 5: After Saber appears, Fuji-nee is worried about Shirou and Saber being alone in the Emiya household. Therefore, under the pretext of protecting Saber and monitoring Shirou, she asks Sakura to stay overnight at Shirou's house. That night, Sakura stays in the same room as Fuji-nee and Saber.
Episode 7: Sakura, who cancelled her morning practice because the Archery Club was on break, intended to go to school with Shirou. However, her plan was disrupted by the sudden appearance of Saber and Rin. She then went to school alone in a huff. At noon, Shirou found Sakura, explained the situation, and comforted her, but accidentally forgot his promise to meet Rin on the rooftop.
Episode 8: Rin decides to stay at the Emiya household and tries to drive Sakura out, but Sakura, who has a crush on Shirou, shows rare courage and does not yield to Rin.
Episode 12: When Rider is eliminated by Saber using Excalibur on the rooftop of a building, there is a shot of Sakura pulling the curtains and looking out the window with a sorrowful expression.
Episode 17: While Shirou and the others are out, Caster attacks the Emiya household, takes control of Sakura's body, and uses Sakura's body to use Rule Breaker on Saber while she is off guard, subsequently kidnapping Sakura.
Episode 18: To rescue the kidnapped Sakura and stop Caster from summoning the Holy Grail, Rin, Shirou, Saber, and the others rush to Caster's underground barrier at Ryudou Temple to engage in a fierce battle with Caster, her Master, and Assassin. During the battle, Sakura, controlled by Caster, attacks Rin with a dagger. Rin initially intended to kill Sakura but ultimately softened her heart and didn't deliver the fatal blow, getting stabbed by Sakura as a result. Caster is then shot to death by the intruding Gilgamesh, and Sakura and Rin are saved.
(In the anime, this segment cuts to many flashback scenes of Rin and Sakura together, making their relationship obvious, yet the anime never explicitly states that they are sisters.)
After this, Sakura has almost no screen time, only appearing in Episode 24 during the introduction of the story's ending.
Her magical attribute is "Imaginary Numbers." When she was modified by Zouken Matou to adapt to the Matou family's magecraft, she also gained the Matou magical trait of "Binding," which evolved into "Shadow Manipulation." Combined with the Holy Grail, it becomes the manipulation of shadows composed of black mud, which can manifest to the scale of a "Shadow Giant."
The Shadow

An entity of unknown identity. It gives the impression of a jellyfish that has come onto land; all normal attacks are useless against it, and if encountered, one can only wait until the shadow disappears to see if they are killed in the end. After (completing) the Saber and Rin routes, I was stuck as I'd used up all the material, and this idea suddenly popped up surprisingly while I was thinking. In reality, it is the manifested Shadow of the Holy Grail that appears through Sakura due to her special constitution.

Shadow Giant
In the Sakura movie version, it appears in a super-massive size, bloated due to Sakura's magical energy. Although Angra Mainyu calls it Sakura's double, "familiar" is actually the formal term. Originally, I wanted to make it small and cute, but since there was no place to use it, it was shelved.
Sudo: The Shadow Giant isn't explained in the anime, so it appeared in the form of little people in the second chapter, and then the giant appeared; that way, it can be understood without explanation. Although we made such preparations, surprisingly, they developed character traits while in the form of little people.
Nasu: The little people are cute. There's one that feels a bit different.
Sudo: That was created with the feeling of Sakura's "youngest heart."
Takeuchi: That means Sakura's heart has become giant.
Nasu: In the movie version. In the second chapter, when Sakura becomes the Dark Grail, six little people are dancing hand-in-hand, and one of them runs over and trips. That is the "youngest heart."
Sudo: When they were leading Rin, the other six were walking ahead of her very proudly, while only one walked right beside Rin.
With what kind of thoughts did you depict these little people?
Sudo: It was referenced from the imps and rascals in the movie "The Brothers Grimm." The father in it feels more and more like the "Evil Grimm Fairy Tales." That's how the movements of the little people were designed.
Nasu: Fast-forwarding a bit, during the climax, after Sakura is hit by "Rule Breaker" and is naked, I didn't know how to wrap up the scene. But in the end, the little people turned into Sakura's dress. I was so thankful, thinking, "Wow, Mr. Sudo is a genius." I personally felt that the little person left at the end was Sakura's conscience. Despite everything that happened, it stayed with Sakura until the very end. This expresses that Sakura couldn't play the part of a complete villain until the end. But now, hearing that it's her childlike heart, I feel I can accept that too.
Zouken Matou secretly recovered the fragments of the Holy Grail destroyed in the Fourth Holy Grail War and implanted them into Sakura's body in an attempt to complete the Matou family's Lesser Grail.
According toIllya's account, Sakura not only has the ability to recover the souls of Servants, but her recovery power is even stronger than that of the genuine Lesser Grail. Only Archer was personally recovered by Illya, and even then, she had to watch over him with all her might, otherwise he would have been pulled away by Sakura. Her stability is far inferior to Illya's, and her human functions and sanity strip away very quickly.
Due to being the Holy Grail, Sakura's magical energy is infinite, with a storage capacity reaching hundreds of millions. The blackened Artoria, receiving a massive supply of magical energy from Dark Sakura, can unleash "Excalibur" without limit. Thus, she can confront Heracles head-on and overwhelm him. Having cast off her shackles and, in a sense, obtained power surpassing her lifetime, she is undoubtedly the strongest Servant.

Takeuchi: From the beginning, the concept for Sakura was a heroine with an inferiority complex. Therefore, the premise was to design her to be a bit more modest, but I also wanted to make her the character with the most "GalGame flavor" among the three heroines.
The Matou Family's Financial Situation
Nasu: Unlike the Tohsaka family, the Matou family are landowners with property in various places, so their finances are surprisingly stable. Renting out spiritual lands they own to other magi is their primary source of income.
Takeuchi: It felt like no one in Sakura's family was working, but so that's the background.
Takeuchi: A subtle charm... I guess? It's not a simple, easy-to-understand "moe" or "sexiness," but a charm that feels like it's seeping out. However, that seems to be almost the same as being "plain." Well, thinking about it now, it seems only natural (sweat).
Nasu: Also, whenever we talk about Sakura's outfits, Dark Sakura inevitably comes up. But I quite like that design. How about saying, "The usually somewhat plain Sakura exists to highlight the design of Dark Sakura!"?
Takeuchi: Speaking of Dark Sakura's shadow, it's the black sausages. (Translator's note: Sausages cut into octopus shapes, which are common in anime bento boxes.)
Nasu: Cute yet terrifying Mr. Octopus sausages.
Takeuchi: It was designed because Nasu wanted to create a situation where "characters are killed by something completely incomprehensible."
Nasu: For some reason, I really wanted to be killed by a 2D object. Not a grotesque creature, but a visitor in the form of a geometric shape. I asked Takeuchi-kun to draw it with the "image of a teru teru bozu turned scary," and then I was convinced that was it. At that time, the script wasn't finished yet, so there was an air of "is this okay?" among the staff, and I was convincing them that "this is fine." In the Japanese horror film *Ring*, isn't there that famous scene where the mysterious character Sadako comes out of the TV? Looking at that scene, I thought, "Fool, you've finally materialized! Let my low roundhouse kick send you to the afterlife." If it's a humanoid creature with a physical body, there's no reason it can't be defeated. So I wanted a sense of dread that those things don't have. Or rather, a sense of being from another dimension where "low roundhouse kicks don't work on this guy, and humans can't understand it."
Takeuchi: Because incomprehensibility is the root of the emotion called "fear."
Nasu: From the early stages, there was the concept that Sakura would become the final boss. As long as the origins of this character were Kohaku from *Tsukihime* and Fujino Asagami from *Kara no Kyoukai*, it was a decided matter that her mind would eventually break. Regarding the design, we started with the sausages, and then Takeuchi-kun brought out a sketch of Dark Sakura saying, "Something like this?" I thought it was great after seeing it and adopted it.
Takeuchi: I thought that since it's a "darkening," it would be better for the design to have a major shift from her usual self, so I drew it with the image of an outfit that gives off the vibe of a boss character.
Nasu: To be honest, I didn't expect such a huge transformation. It was a pleasant surprise. The way those patterns erode Sakura also feels very good.
Takeuchi: Sakura's patterns contain the imagery of a curse. Since Illya has tattoo-like patterns all over her body, Sakura's image should be more like something entwined with grudges and curses.
Nasu: Sakura's position is a "symbol of negativity," different from Gilgamesh. However, I didn't want her to look like an obvious villain; I wanted her to be seen as a victim, a living sacrifice. In terms of that boundary, Dark Sakura's design is a perfect hundred out of a hundred for me. ...By the way, why is Sakura barefoot?
Takeuchi: Doesn't being barefoot feel more like a curse?
Nasu: Well, the image of Japanese yokai is being barefoot. Slowly approaching (laughs).
Things I want to convey through the character of Sakura Matou
Takeuchi: We haven't talked much about the "white" side (normal Sakura), is that okay? It's always like this when talking about Sakura. But Sakura has the most sprites, doesn't she? Isn't she ahead of every other character in that regard?
Nasu: She's way ahead!
Takeuchi: Because there are all sorts of variations. But really, if Sakura had lived in a normal family, she definitely would have been a good girl. She's very considerate.
Nasu: Initially, I intended to make her a "Yamato Nadeshiko." (Translator's note: A term for a woman with a quiet, gentle, and virtuous personality, also a type of moe attribute.)
Takeuchi: A so-called GalGame-style heroine. I once hoped she would be doted on by players as a "waifu."
Nasu: In a sense, Sakura is like a real girl. As long as they don't encounter certain factors, it seems anyone could become Sakura... though Dark Sakura is certainly impossible.
Takeuchi: I think Dark Sakura was accepted by players more than expected. Because at first, I was mentally prepared for her to be hated by everyone (laughs). Being easy to joke about as a character... that might have played a positive role. Although I have some regrets about the impression that "Sakura equals Dark!" becoming so strong...
Nasu: The Sakura who persevered through the darkness is actually Sakura's true form!
Takeuchi: Non-dark Sakura is great too. A woman who can endure everything and possesses compassion. In that sense, the Sakura in "hollow" seems to be the most natural and successful. It feels like after going through so much, she finally became a proper heroine.
In "Fate/hollow ataraxia》In it, she seems to know of Akiha Tohno's existence, calling her "Miss Tohno who attends the rival girls' school," and referring to her as "Miss Perfect," even saying, "Miss Perfect is terrible, everyone is being fooled by her. Born into a prestigious family, beautiful... though she has no chest (the chest issue was mentioned many times)." In fact, the "Miss Perfect" she was referring to was Rin, but because Shirou was present, she changed it to "Miss Tohno," and the characteristics described as "Miss Perfect"Akiha Tohnohit almost every mark. However, the character archetypes for Akiha and Rin are indeedthe same person。
SinceLancerbecame acquainted because ofCaster, the two have a lot in common and developed an extremely holy friendship, and eventually withCasterbecame sisters. She is determined to become an elegant good wife and wise mother like Caster.
In the comedic spin-off adapted from "Take Moon", "Carnival Phantasm] the character image of Sakura Matou is set as aHaraiguroyandere, who intentionallyShinji Matoutrained into a monster to highlight her own kindness and goodness, and even threw Rider outSpinning Assault Purple Rider(This segment is anime-original content). The "DoraemonHoly Grail-kun" that appears seems to be modeled after Sakuraboth areHaraiguro, and the voice actress is also Noriko Shitaya.
In other situations, she is basically acting cute, such as in episode 9 where she acts as a race queen to draw lots for the mounts of the Holy Grail Grand Prix contestants.
(Episode 12) Here Shirou dates the three heroines at the same time. If you look closely, whenever Shirou leaves Sakura to accompany the other girls, Sakura hides in Shirou's blind spot waiting for him...
(SP Episode 13) RegardingShirou Emiyastarting aharemand then abandoning her, she would retaliate with the samenuclear...a kind smile while swinging a kitchen knife, and even putting Crest Worms (!?) into Shirou's breakfast.
Additionally, Dark Sakura, who had never appeared in any Type-Moon animation before, also appeared in the first episode of "Carnival Phantasm," although it was only a transition shot lasting less than a second.
The relationship between Sakura and Shinji can also be seen in the sixth episode of "Carnival Phantasm," where it was handled humorously. At the end of the 12th episode, when Sakura looks at the fallen Shinji, a gloomy expression and a Grail-kun-shaped spirit appear behind her.
(Supplementing Sakura's attitude towards Shinji in the original work: Ah—
That's right.
Just like last night, accept it by damaging myself.
Therefore, I can no longer endure it no matter what.
I hate to continue exploiting him. If it comes to that, it would be better to just maintain the status quo. Just like usual, continue letting my brother violate me. —No.
But, I can't do it anymore.
...Things... I could endure before.
But now, after being held by Shirou, allowing my brother Shinji to violate me is more loathsome than anything else.)
In this April Fools' work, Sakura Matou also takes on the role of the dark heroine and a boss-type character, attacking Sion in the form of Giant Sakura. Sion quips, "You've played all sorts of boss roles, but your heroine power is dropping, you Sakura-type person."

Miyu stated that if they had met sooner, they surely could have become friends. Subsequently, using Miyu'sGáe Bolgshe was hit, crying out "Why didn't you come to save me,Senpai!!!!" before falling into the sea of black mud, her whereabouts unknown.
In the Fate/Apocrypha Material, it is mentioned that due to the fierce battle between Zouken and Darnic, Zouken was reduced to a near-vegetative state by the shock of the Greater Grail being stolen. With no future for the magus lineage, Sakura was not adopted by the Matou family but by the Edelfelt family instead, becoming a "flesh-and-blood wrestler" and withthe girl with drill-curlsformed a tag team and came to Japan.
