Ben Tennyson's cousin, who became involved in various incidents during a road trip with her grandfather and Ben after Ben accidentally obtained the Omnitrix. During this time, her relationship with her cousin Ben grew closer; although they often bickered, she would always stand firmly by Ben's side at critical moments.
After growing up, she learned of her Anodite heritage from her grandmother.

Later, she obtained the Keystone of Bezel from Charmcaster, gaining the power of super luck. She began fighting crime as "Lucky Girl," but lost the power when the Keystone was stolen back by Charmcaster.
After defeating Charmcaster again, she obtained Charmcaster's spellbook and demonstrated a powerful talent for magic, truly gaining the ability to fight alongside Ben.
After learning of her Anodite heritage, she learned to use Mana, though she could not fully master it.
Additionally, in some universes, Gwen also obtained the Omnitrix and demonstrated even greater control over it than Ben.
