Sui, nine years old, from Luoyang, a mute.
Her elder sister was killed by a thousand-year-old pig demon in Luoyang. To avenge her sister, she allowed herself to be kidnapped by human traffickers, solely to assassinate the demon.
Some or all of the above are Sui's lies.
As one of the "lambs" trafficked by Liang, she witnessed this chaotic world alongside him. Compared totongue, Mansui trusts Liang more and shares an inextricable karma with him.
As fellow trafficked "lambs," Mansui became the big sister of the group as they grew familiar, always thinking of protecting them.

Mansui's family consisted of her grandmother, father, mother, a brother three years younger, and a visiting kitten. They farmed 15 mu of land, all wheat. Her father named her "Mansui" in hopes of a good harvest every year; she was usually called "Sui'er," and her grandmother called her "Xiao Sui."
1628
The family's food reserves were only enough for a month. Her mother suggested fleeing east like the others, but her father refused.
A great drought occurred; the river dried up, the wheat died, the kitten was eaten, and her grandmother passed away. Before she died, she told Cai'er and Sui'er the story of the Pig Demon and the Ghost Messenger.[Hundreds of years ago, a Pig Demon lived on Mount Hua near Huazhou. It had a thousand years of cultivation and specialized in eating little children] [Four little children were captured. Among them, one brave child hid a knife, preparing to kill the Pig Demon] Grandma told us the story of the Pig Demon. As she spoke, the sun set, the light in the room grew dimmer, and the light in Grandma's eyes grew dimmer too. At night, Grandma's voice became smaller and smaller, and every sentence she spoke was a struggle. As she labored for breath, squeezing words through her teeth, her story stopped before reaching the end. I thought she had fallen asleep, but I couldn't hear her breathing. Father came over and felt Grandmother's wrist, standing there in a daze without saying a word. I also felt Grandmother's wrist; it was very icy, very cold.. There was little food at home, and most of it was seized by the tax officials.
Sui'er followed her father to the neighboring town to perform shadow plays, but they only earned a single intact corn cob., finally sold the shadow play tools to exchange for some money to buy grain。
Ten or so days later, the grain grew scarcer, and my younger brother fell ill again; Father had no choice but to sell the family heirloom.
Before he left, Sui gave Father a newly sewn pouch for protection and peace.
In these chaotic times, he never returned in the end.Killed by Liang.。
Two months, nearly starved to death... Despair. Younger brother was cold, cooked. Mother was mad, raw.
Waking from the dream, I was no longer hungry, but in its place was an even more painful discomfort.
At dawn, the kitten, Grandma, Father, younger brother, Mother—they were all gone. I reached the edge of a cliff.
I'm not sure if Father is truly dead. If he is alive, I must find him, tell him all my grievances, and live together. If he is dead, harmed by someone, I will surely kill the enemy!
1629
Fleeing the famine, from Ganquan to Fuzhou, to Baishui, to Pucheng, and then to Weinan, searching and asking about Father all the way. During this time, I encountered "Hungry Ghosts," escaped, and killed them. In Weinan, I met a kind old cook, worked as an assistant for six months, and found a clue about Father—in recent years, bandits have often robbed and killed, and these bandits frequent pleasure houses, the largest being the Yanyue Brothel in Chang'an.
1630
At the Yanyue Brothel in Chang'an, I inquired about Father and told Sister Yun about my family. Afterward, I stayed at the brothel as a chore worker. Sister Yun taught me how to read, how to conduct myself, and the skills of concealment and deception. In the eighth month, Sister Yun gave me the addresses of black market pawnshops in Shaanxi that she had collected.
Over the following year, I searched Chang'an, Fuping, Pucheng, and Weinan.

After Shetou's death, Liang took the lambs to Jiezhou to sell them to his acquaintance "Yuan." They passed through the Chuang Army camp and arrived at the inn run by Yuan. After selling the lambs to Yuan, he took Mansui to Luoyang for "revenge." Once the "lambs" were settled by Liang, Mansui began preparing her revenge plan. She first put sleeping pills in Liang's water flask and hid a dagger on herself, intending to kill Liang while leaving in the carriage. However, during their parting, Liang bought gifts for all the lambs, including a pair of shoes for Mansui, which he helped her put on in the carriage. This act of kindness completely shook Mansui's resolve. Liang drank the drugged water as expected, but Mansui couldn't bring herself to strike, leaving only one sentence:"Liang, do you regret killing so many people before?"
The two arrived at Luoyang City. After settling into an inn, they went out for a stroll. At this time, Mansui's heart was filled with conflict, and she kept thinking about whether she should take revenge on Liang. Due to her inner turmoil, Mansui asked Liang a question,"If your enemy one day turned over a new leaf, stopped killing, and became a completely good person, do you think you should still seek revenge?"Liang, unaware of the full context, gave anaffirmativeanswer. Liang's words and her own feelings deeply troubled Mansui. While the two were watching fireworks, Mansui used the excuse of going to the restroom to leave Liang's side. She left some items at the inn and departed. (The items left behind vary depending on the ending; see "In-game Endings" for details.) Ending: Silent
She asked the waiter to givea pouch embroidered with the character "An"to Liang, then hid a portrait of Liang against her chest, rushed into the Pig Demon's mansion with a short sword, intending to assassinate the Pig Demon, but failed, not even finding where the Pig Demon lived; after being caught by guards, she was stabbed in the heart. Ending: Run Away
The details are largely the same as "Silent," except she left two extra words with the waiter: "Run away." Ending: Never Meet Again
After giving the pouch to the waiter, she threw herself into the lake, leaving the shoes Liang gave her on the shore.Mansui believed she could not die with things given by her enemy, so she left the shoes behind. True Ending: Live Together
She confessed everything to Liang. After Liang joined the Chuang Army and she wandered for nine years, the Chuang Army captured Luoyang. Mansui and Liang met by the river and went to Yangzhou together. True Ending: Die Together
She confessed everything to Liang and finally decided to break into the Pig Demon's mansion with Liang to assassinate him. After cutting off the "Pig Demon's" head, both were shot to death by a hail of arrows.
