Tenma Tsukasa's younger sisterSakiShe has been sickly since childhood and was rarely able to attend school normally; as a child, Tsukasa was determined to make his sister smile. One day, their parents took Tsukasa and Saki to watch a stage performance. Saki was moved by the dazzling protagonist of the play and showed a long-lost smile. Because of this, the young Tsukasa resolved to become a star performer himself, so that Saki, who could rarely go out to watch plays, could be happy at all times. However, as they grew up, Saki's health improved, and Tsukasa had long forgotten his original intention for wanting to become a stage star, focusing solely on working hard to become a star. To this end, he took his first step toward becoming a stage star—applying for a job as a stage actor at the famous theme park "Phoenix Wonderland." Before going to the interview, he suddenly discovered a song titled "Untitled" on his phone. After playing it, he found himself in an unknown stage theater. There, he metHatsune MikuandKAITO. They informed Tsukasa that this mysterious world is called "SEKAI," and the purpose of "SEKAI's" existence is for Tsukasa to rediscover his original intention for wanting to become a stage star. A confused Tsukasa returned to the real world and temporarily treated the "SEKAI" incident as a dream, then went to Phoenix Wonderland for his interview. During the interview, Tsukasa's flamboyant behavior made the interviewers look troubled, but it caughtOtori Emu's attention. A few days later, Tsukasa received an acceptance notice from Phoenix Wonderland. Arriving at the park in high spirits, he discovered that the stage he was assigned to was the dilapidated and neglected "Wonder Stage." There, he met a girl who fell from the sky, Otori Emu, and the stuffed-suit butler following her. Emu told Tsukasa that he hadn't actually passed the Phoenix Wonderland interview at first, but was assigned to this stage at her special request. Emu hoped that Tsukasa could restore the desolate Wonder Stage to its former glory. Disappointed, Tsukasa believed that to become a star, he had to accumulate experience on a large stage. He intended to leave but was held back by Emu, who told him that revitalizing this stage was a "promise" between her and someone. While the two were entangled, Hatsune Miku suddenly appeared again, pulling them into the "Wonderland SEKAI." In the "SEKAI," Tsukasa encountered a talking rabbit plushie, who asked Tsukasa if he remembered him. Not only did Tsukasa have no recollection, but he also hit his head in fright and lost consciousness. After waking up, he told Emu that as long as she could get him out of this world, he would "do anything." Tsukasa, who fled back to the real world, was mistaken for kidnapping Emu by the butler in the plush suit. Under the butler's threats, Tsukasa finally agreed to help Emu and perform at the Wonder Stage. Meanwhile, to ensure the stage could function properly, Tsukasa decided to recruit more troupe members. Tsukasa first took an interest in the one performing on the street using robotsKamishiro Rui, after learning that Rui was a student at Kamiyama High School just like himself, he personally sought out Rui to invite him to join the troupe. Under Tsukasa's passionate persuasion, Rui agreed to his invitation and requested that the robot "Nene-Robo," operated by his friend, also be allowed to perform on stage together. Tsukasa initially showed hesitation about a robot performing on stage, but after realizing that Nene-Robo had extraordinary singing and dancing skills, Tsukasa agreed to let Nene-Robo join as the fourth member of the stage. Thus, the troupe led by Tsukasa Tenma was officially established. At Emu's suggestion, the troupe was named "Wonderlands×Showtime," and they began preparing for the troupe's first performance.Kusanagi NeneThe robot she operates, "Nene-go," is also able to perform on stage. Tsukasa was initially hesitant about a robot appearing on stage, but after realizing Nene-go's remarkable singing and dancing abilities, he agreed to have Nene-go join as the fourth member. Thus, the troupe led by Tenma Tsukasa was officially formed, and at Emu's suggestion, it was named "Wonderlands×Showtime." They then began preparing for their first performance. At home, Tsukasa showed Saki the script he had written for the debut performance. Saki recalled how Tsukasa used to perform various stage plays for her using her rabbit plushie when they were children. Even so, Tsukasa had no memory of the rabbit plushie Saki mentioned. The troupe's preparations for the first performance continued; to make the stage more visually impactful, Tsukasa willingly accepted the unprecedented and dangerous performance methods proposed by Rui, who was in charge of stage effects, such as being struck by lightning, burned by fire, blown by wind, and drenched by water. To take his acting to the next level, Tsukasa was also pulled into the "Wonderland SEKAI" by Emu to consult KAITO for advice. Before leaving, Hatsune Miku asked Tsukasa if he wanted to perform in the "SEKAI," but he refused, as he held no favorable feelings toward the "SEKAI." The subsequent preparation process went smoothly. After the final rehearsal, Emu expressed her gratitude to Tsukasa, telling him that it was her dream to see the audience at this stage full of smiles again. However, during the crucial official performance, the Nene-Robo ran out of power because of Nene's excessive practice the night before, and the performance was declared a failure halfway through. In a fit of rage, Tsukasa blamed the failure of the stage on Nene, whom he was meeting in person for the first time, causing a guilt-ridden Nene to flee the stage. Rui, deeply disappointed in Tsukasa, also stated that he would not return to this stage again and coldly declared that Tsukasa's stage performances were merely a means of self-satisfaction and that Tsukasa would never become the star of his dreams. In a fit of anger, Tsukasa also left the stage, and the newly formed troupe fell apart in an instant, leaving only a bewildered Emu behind. A dejected Tsukasa recalled what KAITO had once said to him and went to the "Wonderland SEKAI" to seek KAITO's advice. However, in the "SEKAI," he did not encounter Hatsune Miku or KAITO, but only saw the rabbit plushie crying uncontrollably. Unable to help worrying about the rabbit plushie, Tsukasa used Emu's opening lines from the Wonder Stage to perform an adventure play for the plushie, with himself as the protagonist and the rabbit plushie as his companion. At that moment, Tsukasa finally remembered that the rabbit plushie before him was the very one he used to perform for Saki when they were children, and the tents, posters, cars, and sculptures in the "SEKAI" were all props from the stage plays he had starred in within his childhood dreams. Hatsune Miku told Tsukasa that this "SEKAI" was a world formed by Tsukasa's wishes. Tsukasa recalled the original reason he dreamed of becoming a stage star—simply because he wanted to bring laughter to Saki, and because of the supreme smiles the stage stars he saw that day had brought to him and Saki... Without realizing it, the purpose of his stage performances had changed, becoming fixated only on the act of becoming a stage star itself, which had taken away the smiles of the companions around him. Hatsune Miku and KAITO told the remorseful Tsukasa that he was still the future star who could fill the world with laughter; now it was Tsukasa's turn to help the people around him find their smiles again. Having rediscovered his original intention, Tsukasa returned to the empty Wonder Stage, determined to win back the companions who had left him. In front of the amusement park's Ferris wheel, Tsukasa found Emu. Before he could even apologize, Emu invited him to ride the Ferris wheel with her. In the Ferris wheel cabin, Emu informed Tsukasa that she was the heiress of the Otori Group, which operates the amusement park, and that both Phoenix Wonderland and the Wonder Stage were created by her grandfather. However, following her grandfather's passing, Emu's father decided to demolish and rebuild the old Wonder Stage unless Emu could make the stage crowded with people again within a time limit. Emu's purpose in inviting Tsukasa to perform here was to protect this stage filled with memories of her grandfather, and Tsukasa was the person she envisioned who could help her achieve this dream. But Emu believed that the troupe's collapse was ultimately because she had forced her will on others, and she told Tsukasa she had decided to say goodbye to the Wonder Stage. Tsukasa rebuked Emu's negative thoughts, apologized to her for his actions, and made a vow that he would definitely work with her to fill the Wonder Stage with laughter and cheers once again. With Tsukasa's encouragement, Emu returned to the Wonder Stage, where the two of them discovered Nene, who had snuck into the Wonder Stage out of a lingering attachment to it. Upon being discovered by Tsukasa, Nene fled in panic aboard Nene-Robo. Following Tsukasa's strategy, the two of them went to great lengths and finally caught Nene within the park. After Tsukasa solemnly reflected on his actions to Nene, Nene also revealed that she wanted to continue performing on stage, but the reason she didn't dare to stand on stage in person was precisely because of a painful experience where she had forgotten her lines during an official performance, leading to the failure of the play. Tsukasa quoted the words of a stage star he respected, telling Nene that people grow through constant challenges and failures, and that his blaming of her was a contemptible act. Following Tsukasa's apology and invitation once more, Nene also returned to the ranks of Tsukasa and Emu. Tsukasa, Emu, and Nene met Rui on the street. Tsukasa apologized to Rui and tried to invite him back to the Wonder Stage. However, Rui told Tsukasa that his purpose for participating in stage performances was to create the best possible shows; because their values regarding performance differed, they were incompatible, and he would not change his mind about leaving the Wonder Stage. Tsukasa wanted to retort but was at a loss for words, only able to watch Rui leave. To let Rui understand his true feelings, Tsukasa forcibly pulled Rui into the "Wonderland SEKAI" and performed a play for him along with Emu, Nene, and the Virtual Singers. The content of the play was a retelling of the four troupe members' recent experiences. In the play, through the character he played, Tsukasa told Rui the fundamental reason why he wanted to become a star and how he had forgotten his original intention. Tsukasa told Rui that his dream of becoming a star hadn't changed, but the star he wanted to be was one who could perform the best shows that filled both the audience and his companions with laughter. Shows had brought him laughter, emotion, excitement, and dreams. Therefore, he wanted to convey his sincerity to Rui through the medium of a play and tell Rui that he was an indispensable partner in the troupe. Rui was moved by Tsukasa's goal of "performing the best shows that fill both the audience and companions with laughter" and chose to return to the troupe. The wishes of the four reconciled members resonated, composing the "Untitled" on Tsukasa's phone into their own song—"The World Hasn't Even Begun Yet". Hatsune Miku and KAITO told Tsukasa that this song came from his wish to fill the world with laughter through plays, but Tsukasa believed that the song would not have taken shape through his efforts alone; it was a song that belonged to all four of them. After singing together, the four returned to the Wonder Stage. Before leaving, Tsukasa expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Hatsune Miku and KAITO for everything they had done. Back at the stage, Emu informed everyone of the fact that the Wonder Stage might be demolished. Tsukasa had no doubt that the four of them could protect the stage, and the troupe delivered their best performances over the following days, filling everyone present with laughter and joy. After several days of performances, the Wonder Stage ultimately avoided demolition for the time being. Tsukasa also changed his original mindset; rather than going to a larger stage to gain experience, he wanted to stay with his companions and perform the best shows for everyone. He invited the other three to stay and continue performing at the Wonder Stage, and they gladly accepted. A grateful Emu lunged at Tsukasa, and their laughter echoed within the "Wonderland SEKAI." |

Tsukasa asked Seiryuin for acting advice, but Seiryuin said her method might not suit him and recommended that he find a way to project his own feelings into the character. Tsukasa tried various methods but could not achieve a qualitative breakthrough. Later, he received a hint from MEIKO, so he went with everyone to see Tenma Seiichi's performance to stimulate his emotions. Seeing Tenma Seiichi's acting, Tsukasa deeply realized the huge gap in their abilities and felt powerless. Although they did not win in the end, Tsukasa's performance left a deep impression on the judge, Sakaki, and W×S received the Special Jury Award, which also granted them a performance opportunity.
