Regarding the translation of the term "Boundary"
In the description of Yakumo Yukari's ability, directly using the Kanji for the Japanese word "Kyoukai" (境界) as the Chinese translation is actually inappropriate—all things considered, it would be more fitting to translate it as "Jiejing" (界境).
This is because the word "Kyoukai" in Japanese expresses the original meaning of the word in Chinese—similar to "border" or "boundary." However, the word "Jingjie" (境界) in Chinese has long since abandoned its original meaning and is now used in an extended sense, similar to the concept of "level of cultivation." Therefore, the "Kyoukai" manipulated in Yakumo Yukari's ability should be translated into Chinese as "Jiejing" (界境) (which retains the original meaning of "boundary")—this avoids confusion and better fits the meaning in modern Chinese.

She is an old acquaintance of Yuyuko, but she is not a ghost. A youkai who lives quietly at the furthest edge of Gensokyo. From there, she lives while watching over the Hakurei Barrier.
The occasional humans who wander into Gensokyo are also the result of Yukari sometimes distorting boundaries. If people knew that the phenomenon humans call "spiriting away" was not the work of any god, but merely the mischief of this youkai girl, it would instantly lose its mystery.

This is a secret history from over a thousand years ago. It is said that she manipulated the boundary between reality and fantasy, leaping into the moon reflected on a lake to launch an attack. Despite gathering a large number of youkai, they suffered a crushing defeat before the modern weaponry of the lunar surface. Since then, youkai have rarely attempted to invade territories that do not belong to them. Using this incident as a catalyst, the power of this boundary youkai became widely known among humans.
- The Youkai Expansion Project
This is an anecdote from over five hundred years ago. Due to the increase in the human population, Yukari planned and implemented this to restore the influence of youkai in Gensokyo who were being suppressed by humans.

This led Renko to wonder if Maribel exists on the same plane as youkai.
Yukari can enter the Moon through its reflection in a lake, while Maribel can see the scenery on the other side of the Moon (likely the Lunar Capital) through the Moon's reflection.
