Cao Piis one of the generals inLegends of the Three Kingdoms.
Character Biography
Emperor Wen of Wei, Cao Pi (187 – June 29, 226), courtesy name Zihuan, was from Qiao County, Pei Commandery (present-day Bozhou, Anhui Province). He was a politician and literary figure of the Three Kingdoms period, and the founding emperor of Cao Wei (reigned 220–226). He was the son of Emperor Wu of Wei,Cao Cao, and his mother was Empress Dowager Wu Xuan,Lady Bian。
. He was talented in both civil and military affairs, widely read in classics and commentaries, and well-versed in the teachings of the Hundred Schools of Thought. He was successively promoted to General of the Five Offices. In the 22nd year of Jian'an (217), he became Crown Prince of Wei. In the 25th year of Jian'an (220), he succeeded as Chancellor and King of Wei. That same year, he ascended the throne, ending over four hundred years of Han dynasty rule and establishing the Wei state. During his reign, he adopted the suggestion of Minister of PersonnelChen Qunto establish and implement the Nine-Rank System, which became the primary official selection system throughout the Wei, Jin, and Southern and Northern Dynasties periods. He pacified the separatist forces in the Qingzhou and Xuzhou regions, ultimately completing the unification of the northern territories. Externally, he pacified border threats, repelled the Xianbei, established friendly relations with the Xiongnu, Di, Qiang, and other foreign peoples, and restored administrative posts in the Western Regions.
In the 7th year of Huangchu (226), Cao Pi died of illness in Luoyang at the age of forty. He was posthumously titled Emperor Wen, given the temple name Shizu, and buried at Shouyang Mausoleum. Cao Pi achieved distinction in poetry, rhapsody, and prose, excelling particularly in five-character verse. Together with his father Cao Cao and younger brotherCao Zhi, they are known as the "Three Caos of Jian'an." Two volumes of his Collected Works of Emperor Wen of Wei survive today. He authored the Dianlun (Canonical Discourse), whose chapter "On Literature" is the first systematic work of literary criticism in the history of Chinese literature.
In Legends of the Three Kingdoms, Cao Pi has the most consorts, totaling eight:Zhen Ji、Guo Nüwang、Xue Lingyun、Duan Qiaoxiao、 Tian Shangyi、Mo Qiongshu、Liu Jin and Liu Pei。

Elegy of Death yields substantial inheritance in 8-player games, allowing you to acquire key equipment. If your teammate isStandard Huang Gai, Huang Gai can choose to self-destruct via Kurou, letting Cao Pi inherit his cards. Never seen a general with this many parentheses and branches.
An extremely oppressive general. The actual power level may not be game-breakingly strong, but it definitely makes for a terrible gameplay experience. Strategem 【Exile】's trick card restriction means losing the most basic attack and defense capabilities, essentially crippling half your power. The skill lock chains even locked skills along with compulsory skills, creating extremely strong suppression against the enemy's core characters, and the effect persists until the end of the target's next turn. The activation threshold for this skill is extremely low — tokens accumulate whenever anyone takes damage. Combined with the mobile game's environment, as long as Cao Pi enters his action phase, he can basically lock down opponents to death.

Besides the extreme control of Strategem 【Exile】, Strategem 【Elegy of Death】's buff to allies is also terrifying — four tokens can draw 4 to 10 cards, and five tokens can power up teammates or, likeYang Huiyu, consume the dead, offering great flexibility. Compared to the negligible bonus of Standard and Breakthrough Cao Pi's 【Hymn of Authority】, Strategem 【Hymn of Authority】 is a massive upgrade. As Lord, Strategem Cao Pi can seal opponents or buff allies from the very first turn, deterring rebels from choosing high-burst aggressive generals. Strategem 【Hymn of Authority】 can turn one Wei character into a blank slate once per game, but choosing Wei faction inherently benefits Cao Pi and is an act of showing loyalty. However, Lord Cao Pi often suspects powerful Wei characters or targets divine generals who chose the Wei faction. This leads to many loyalists being wrongfully eliminated, while Cao Pi players argue that loyalists should eliminate all unstable factors for the Lord —even if it means the loyalist themselves. This has led many players to choose non-Wei generals when they see Cao Pi as Lord. However, lacking Wei characters causes Lord Cao Pi to start with insufficient tokens and reduced suppression power. For a time, debates raged over "should loyalists of Strategem Cao Pi choose Wei?" and the absurd phenomenon of "choose Wei and get hit by Hymn of Authority, don't choose Wei and get hit by Exile" emerged.Wen Yang: I know that feeling all too well.

Cao Pi clutched the military report with furrowed brows, his expression shifting between light and shadow in the candlelight on his desk. That night, he summonedSima Yito his residence to discuss the matter. When Sima Yi entered, before Cao Pi could speak, he stepped forward and presented a dagger, staring wide-eyed at Cao Pi. The two conversed in secret in the study until the cock crowed. If the number of hand cards you have given to other characters as the cost of this skill is greater than 1 and the number given prior to this activation during this phase was less than 2, you may use a basic card with no corresponding physical card.
◆ If you use a 【Kill】 via the effect of 【Benevolence】, you must declare which type of 【Kill】 it is, and the legality check for this 【Kill】's usage target rule changes from what is printed on the card to "other characters within your attack range," and this 【Kill】 counts toward usage limits. 【Kill】 used via 【Benevolence】's effect is subject to usage limits.

TL;DR: Store now has an upper limit, no longer increases hand card limit, 【Delegate Authority】 was removed, and health was reduced slightly.
